Q. When will my item ship?

A. In-stock merchandise will ship the same or next business day depending on the time the order has been placed. Special Order items may take longer depending on the item. If the item is marked special order item, please call or email for appx. Ship time.



Q. Will there be extra charges for shipping outside of the contiguous United States or Canada?

A. National Discount Pool Supplies ships most merchandise outside of the Contiguous United States and Canada. There will be extra shipping charges depending on size and weight of shipment and the location to where it is shipping. The best way to get a quote on the shipping charges is to place your order. The shipping department will email a quote of the extra charges and you can either deny or approve these charges. You will not be charged until you approve the extra charge.

INTERNATIONAL ORDERS:All orders from outside the United States that are over $500.00 will require payment to be made via a bank wire transfer. Please contact us for banking/wire transfer information



Q. How can I pay for my merchandise?

A. National Discount Pool Supplies accepts Mastercard, Visa, American Express, Discover & PayPal as forms of payment online. You can also send in a check with your order by mail. Q. Will I be charged sales tax?

A. The only state we are required to collect sales tax in is Wisconsin.

Q. The Product I am ordering states it will be shipped via Freight Truck. What does this mean?

A. Pools, Pool packages, Pool Tables, and larger “bulk” Chemical package deals will be shipped freight by UPS or R&L Carriers. When your larger shipment has left our facility, you will be updated with a tracking number per the carrier who is delivering your item. You will be called at the number provided by the freight carrier to set up delivery.

Lift gate service is available for your order that is being shipped freight. Lift gate service can range anywhere from $50-$200 depending on weight and size of the shipment. Lift gate service must be requested at time of order. If you are placing a phone order, please tell the customer service representative you would like lift gate service. If you are ordering online, please put the request in the notes area. A customer service representative will contact you regarding the extra charge.

If Lift Gate service is not used, you may need additional help to unload the shipment. Swimming pools come on pallets and shrink wrapped. You will need to break down the pallet and unload the individual boxes.



Q. What does it mean when it is noted by items that they are being shipped hazardous?

A. Some items shipped are deemed “hazardous” by the DOT and must be signed for by receiving party. There is no exception to this rule. If you are not available for a signature, the shipper will not leave the package at the shipment address. Please provide a shipping address where someone is usually available to sign for the shipment (your place of work is usually the best choice)
