Aquador Skimmer Door for In-Ground Pools

Skimmer Door by AquaDor NEVER DRAIN YOU POOL AGAIN!

The faceplate measures 10-7/8″ W x 8-5/8″ H and the inner opening dimensions are 7-5/8″ x 5-7/8″.

Quick and easy snap-on closure system to fit your above-ground pool skimmer. Eliminates the need to drop your water level at closing time. Replace your current skimmer's face plate. Pool water must be below the skimmer to install the closure system.

  • Commercial-grade faceplates are made of space-age UV and chemical-resistant plastic, which can withstand down to –80° F to eliminate cracking.
  • Lid covers screw on faceplates to prevent strong winterizing chemicals from rusting screws.
  • Rounded lid corners prevent ice formation from causing lid pop-off.
  • Sure-grip thumb tab to remove the lid, in contrast to other attempts with thin rings that break.
  • Reinforced inner peripheral ridge on face frame to prevent cracking due to screw tension.
  • Recessed screw holes for a flush fit.
  • Because of the non-shrinking space-age plastic, no need to tighten screws on the skimmer or return it.
  • Real tile installs flush with our face frames for a smoother, cleaner look.
  • A flexible domed lid allows for ice expansion and contraction, which prevents ice adhesion lid pop-off, unlike other failed inferior brands that sell on the inner face frame rather than the outer.

Directions

Initial Install

  1. Drain pool water level to below the skimmer opening
  2. Unscrew and remove your original skimmer face plate, keeping the screws.  Inspect the face plate gasket and replace it if worn.
  3. After removing your original face place, install your new Aquador face plate using the screws from your original face plate. **Use hand tools only to avoid over-tigtening.
  4. Snap-on the patented Aquador cover by pressing firmly around the entire perimeter.
  5. Refill your pool to the original level

Subsequent Installation

  1. Simply snap on the Aquador cover as in step 4.  No need to lower the water level!
